How to choose a winch mount for the Mitsubishi L200

Vehicle generation

A winch mount usually fits only certain model years. A mount designed for the 2006–2009 L200 will not necessarily fit the 2015–2019 or 2019+ generations, as the front end and mounting points differ. Permanent mount or portable cradle

A permanent mount keeps the winch at the front, ready to use. A portable Multi Mount cradle lets you attach the winch only when needed and move it between vehicles with the same mounting system. Choose based on how often you use the winch and where you need to pull from.

Matching the winch

Usually yes, if all vehicles have the same mounting type and size. Check this on each vehicle before moving the cradle.

Does the bumper need to be modified for fitting?

It depends on the mount. Some use existing mounting points, others may need adjustments. Check the product description or ask us before ordering.

Does the mount come with fixing bolts?

Package contents vary by product. Check the product page for the included fitting parts and whether the winch needs separate bolts.
